Step-by-Step Airport Process

1. After landing at Queen Alia International Airport, proceed to the visa/immigration counters before baggage claim.
2. Present your passport, return ticket, and accommodation proof to the immigration officer.
3. Pay the visa fee in cash (Jordanian Dinar preferred; some counters accept major foreign currencies).
4. Receive the visa stamp in your passport and proceed through standard immigration and baggage claim.

Fees & Visa Validity

The single-entry tourist visa fee is approximately JOD 40 (around USD 56), valid for a stay of up to 30 days. Extensions can be arranged at a local police station or the Ministry of Interior while in Jordan.

Practical Tips

• Carry cash in Jordanian Dinar for the visa fee, as card payment is not always available at the counter.
