Visa Type: A Visitor's Visa is required for Bangladeshi citizens who wish to travel to South Africa for tourism, holidays, or to visit family and friends. Applications must be submitted through VFS Global in Dhaka. যারা পর্যটন, ছুটি কাটাতে বা পরিবার ও বন্ধুদের সাথে দেখা করার জন্য দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা ভ্রমণ করতে চান, তাদের জন্য ভিজিটরস ভিসা প্রয়োজন। আবেদনপত্র ঢাকার ভিএফএস গ্লোবালের মাধ্যমে জমা দিতে হবে।
Required Documents
- Original Passport valid for no less than 30 days after the expiry of intended visit, with at least two unused pages (ভ্রমণের মেয়াদ শেষ হওয়ার পর কমপক্ষে ৩০ দিনের বৈধতা এবং অন্তত দুটি অব্যবহৃত পৃষ্ঠা সহ আসল পাসপোর্ট).
- Duly completed Visa Application Form (DHA-84) in black ink (কালো কালিতে যথাযথভাবে পূরণকৃত ভিসা আবেদনপত্র DHA-84).
- Two recent passport-size photographs (দুটি সাম্প্রতিক পাসপোর্ট সাইজের ছবি).
- Proof of financial means (last 3 months' bank statements) (আর্থিক সক্ষমতার প্রমাণ - গত ৩ মাসের ব্যাংক স্টেটমেন্ট).
- A letter from your employer granting leave and confirming your position (আপনার নিয়োগকর্তার কাছ থেকে ছুটির অনুমোদন এবং আপনার পদ নিশ্চিতকরণ চিঠি).
- Proof of confirmed flight booking (return or onward ticket) (নিশ্চিত ফ্লাইট বুকিংয়ের প্রমাণ - রিটার্ন বা পরবর্তী টিকিট).
- Proof of hotel accommodation or an invitation letter from a host in South Africa with their ID/residence permit (হোটেল রিজার্ভেশনের প্রমাণ অথবা দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকায় বসবাসকারী হোস্টের কাছ থেকে তাদের আইডি/বসবাসের অনুমতিপত্র সহ আমন্ত্রণপত্র).
- A vaccination certificate for Yellow Fever if traveling from an infected area (সংক্রমিত এলাকা থেকে ভ্রমণ করলে ইয়োলো ফিভারের টিকা দেওয়ার সার্টিফিকেট).
How to Fill Up the Visa Form
The application form DHA-84 must be downloaded from the VFS Global website. It must be filled in completely, using black ink only, and signed by the applicant. Ensure all sections are completed to avoid delays. আবেদনপত্র DHA-84 অবশ্যই ভিএফএস গ্লোবালের ওয়েবসাইট থেকে ডাউনলোড করতে হবে। এটি শুধুমাত্র কালো কালি ব্যবহার করে সম্পূর্ণরূপে পূরণ করতে হবে এবং আবেদনকারী দ্বারা স্বাক্ষরিত হতে হবে। বিলম্ব এড়াতে সমস্ত বিভাগ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে কিনা তা নিশ্চিত করুন।
Visa Fees
The visa fee is set by the South African High Commission, and there is an additional service fee for VFS Global. The total amount is approximately 6,800 BDT but is subject to change. How to Submit the Visa
You must schedule an appointment online with VFS Global in Dhaka to submit your application form, passport, and all supporting documents in person. Student Visa (Study Permit)
Visa Type: Bangladeshi students intending to study in South Africa at a primary, secondary, or tertiary level institution must apply for a Study Permit. How to Fill Up the Visa Form

How to Submit the Visa

Work Visa
Visa Type: Bangladeshi nationals who intend to work in South Africa need to apply for a Work Visa.
