Over the next five years, Coral Bay and Palmhaven grew considerably, to 410,000 and 260,000 respectively, while Bluewater declined slightly. In 2020, however, all four resorts saw numbers fall to less than half of their previous levels, with Palmhaven dropping to just 90,000.

Sunport returned to roughly its earlier level at 310,000. Bluewater, by contrast, recovered only partly, to 350,000, ending the period below where it began.

Band 9  261 words

Across the developing world, large numbers of young people are moving from the countryside to cities in search of education and employment. While this migration can bring opportunities for individuals, it creates serious problems both for the villages they leave and for the cities they move to. However, there are practical measures that could reduce these difficulties.

In rural areas, the departure of the young leaves behind an ageing population. Farms may lack workers, traditional skills are lost, and older people are often left without family members to care for them. Cities, meanwhile, struggle to absorb the newcomers. In Dhaka, for instance, rapid population growth has placed enormous pressure on housing, transport and water supplies, and many migrants end up living in overcrowded informal settlements with poor sanitation.

The most effective long-term solution is to make rural life more attractive by creating opportunities outside the cities. Governments could invest in reliable electricity and internet connections in villages, which would allow small businesses and remote jobs to develop. Improving local schools and colleges would also mean that young people did not need to move away simply to continue their education. At the same time, cities need better planning, including affordable housing and improved public transport, so that those who do arrive can live decently.

In conclusion, the movement of young people to cities weakens rural communities and overloads urban services. By spreading investment and opportunities more evenly across the country, while managing urban growth more carefully, governments could ensure that young people have a genuine choice about where to build their lives.

Band 7  260 words

Nowadays, many young people are moving from villages to cities to find jobs and study. This causes several problems, but there are also some solutions which I will discuss in this essay.

The first problem is for the villages. When young people leave, only old people stay there. As a result, there are not enough workers on the farms, and old people do not have anyone to look after them. The second problem is for the cities. Cities like Dhaka become very crowded, so there is not enough housing, water or transport for everyone. Many people who come from villages have to live in slums, which are dirty and unsafe. Also, there is more competition for jobs, so some of them cannot find work and become poor in the city.

There are some solutions to these problems. Firstly, the government should create more jobs in villages. For example, they can provide good electricity and internet, so people can start small businesses or work online from home. Secondly, the government should build better schools and colleges in rural areas, so young people do not need to go to the city to study. Finally, cities should build more cheap houses and better public transport for the people who move there.

In conclusion, young people moving to cities causes problems for both villages and cities. However, if the government creates jobs and good schools in villages and improves the cities, these problems can be reduced. In this way, young people can choose to stay in their village and still have a good future.

Band 5–6  206 words

Now a days many young people go from the village to the city for job and study. This make many problem but there is also solution.

First problem is in the village only old people stay. So there is no worker for farm and nobody take care the old people. Second problem is the city become very crowded. In Dhaka there is no enough house, water and transport for all people. Many people from village live in slum and it is very dirty and not safe for the children. Also there is not enough job in city for all the people so some people become poor.

For solve this problem government should make more job in the village. For example they can give good electricity and internet so people can do business or online work. Also government should make good school and college in village so young people not need to go city for study. And city should make more cheap house and more bus for the people.

In conclusion young people go to city make problem for village and city both. But if government make job and school in village, the problem will be less and the people will be more happy in the village.
